dreaming of europe?

If you are dreaming of Europe and an US citizen, the power of visa-free entry may be changing soon.

For years, US citizens have simply shown their passport and provided minimum entry visa information for visa-free travel throughout Europe.

Many travelers spend months hopping from country to country without a care of advance paperwork.

No matter the timeline of your European travel plans, it’s best to keep an eye on any potential entry visa changes that may be coming soon to US passport holders.

According to reports online, the European Parliament, legally obliged to act  – has voted to suspend the visa waiver for Americans has voted to end visa-free travel for Americans within the EU.  This could still be months down the road, but keep up to date so you are not caught off guard during your travels.

This is not due to the newly elected Trump administration, as far back as 3 years ago, the US has not been operating under the requirements of the reciprocity that keeps these visas in check.

The countries in question at this point:  Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Poland, & Romania.
